We are open!

What to expect

So the time is here, massage therapy is back open. Here’s a summary of what to expect when you book a massage

Your health and safety is as important to me as it’s always been so to help keep all of us safe and well there are a few changes to both clinic and mobile practices. Please do drop me a line if you have any concerns regarding booking a treatment.

At the moment I am asking clients to book at least 24 hours in advance for your treatment, this is so you can complete a remote screening consultation before attending the clinic. Please note that in line with my association advice I am limiting my treatments to the maximum time of 60 minutes. Please be sure to book early as my clinic clean up time between clients is now 30 minutes so less appointments are available.

Please pay by card or smart device where possible. If you would like to prepay via card then I can send you a prepay payment link. Payments via payment links must be paid at least 30 minutes before your appointment time or you’ll be asked to pay at the time of your appointment

Do I need to wear a mask?

It is a requirement that all clients wear a face covering throughout their session with me whether this is clinic based or within their own home. If you don’t have a face covering I can provide a disposable mask for you to wear.

Will you be wearing a mask?

Yes. In line with association guidance I will be wearing a mask, visor, gloves and apron. The masks, gloves and aprons are all disposable so I’ll be using fresh coverings for each client.

I have underlying health conditions or am classed as vulnerable. Can I book?

Exciting though it is to think that massage is now open for business, your health takes priority. Although every effort has been made to provide a safe environment for massage treatments to take place, it could still pose a potential risk. It is therefore unadvisable at this time to book an appointment if you fall into the vulnerable or extremely vulnerable category or have any other underlying health conditions.

Please contact me if you wish to discuss this further.

Visiting the clinic

When visiting the clinic please try to arrive on time for your treatment. To avoid people congregating in the reception area we are asking that clients try not to arrive too early for their appointment. Please wash you hands and use sanitizer provided to sanitize your hands. Please remember to wear your face covering at all times.

Home visits

Home visits are limited to the boroughs of Greenwich, Bexley and parts of Lewisham.

Please open a window or door into the space 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after your appointment to aerate the space. You may close it during the treatment. If you would rather leave the window open throughout the session then that’s absolutely fine.

For home visits I provide 2 disposable towels. These are lightweight towels for coverage. You may use 2 of your own towels if you prefer.

I advise all clients to provide a large towel or blanket that can be used over the top of the disposable towels, for your own comfort and warmth.

Please provide clear passage to the room you would like to act as your treatment space. The couch and any other items will be unpacked by your door. Any external coverings and bags (including the couch trolley) will need to be stored near the door to reduce the amount of external items being carried through your home. Please wear your face covering during the appointment. I can provide a mask if you do not have a face covering.
